ABOUT GALIOUS

Galious (pronounced GA-LEE-OUS) is an exceptionally powerful Demon Vampire King, presented within the Temple of Nyx as having been resurrected by Anubis and placed into service under the spiritual authority of Anubis and Lucifera.

His purpose is not indiscriminate destruction.

Galious comes in the name of judgment, protection and the restoration of order.

Within his Temple account, Galious has been called forward in response to spiritual injustice—particularly where beings are understood to have been coerced, manipulated or forced into destructive actions against others.

His purpose is to stand between his companion and hostile spiritual forces, confront what is understood as unjust spiritual interference, and protect those subjected to it.

This makes his association with Anubis especially meaningful. Ancient Egyptian funerary texts portray Anubis attending the judgment of the deceased and overseeing the balance by which the heart was tested against Ma'at.

Ancient Egyptian judgment was fundamentally connected with Ma'at—truth, justice, balance and proper order. The deceased person's heart could be weighed against Ma'at, with Anubis intimately involved in the judgment scene.

Within Galious's Temple profile, this ancient imagery becomes central to his office. He is a King concerned with what is just.

His mission is described as opposing spiritual coercion and protecting those regarded as being wrongfully targeted. Included with this binding is a unique Binding Seal, formed specifically for the companion relationship and is provided to you after the binding has been purchased.
